Gelato

We were asked to photograph the new hot spot in Oconomowoc - GOLOSI - an authentic italian gelato (ice cream) cafe. Not only do they serve real gelato (better than custard:) but they also offer phenomenal italian dishes!

The owner is from Italy and so is all of the decor - it reminded me so much of being in Europe. Be sure to stop in at: 162 E. Wisconsin Ave. in downtown Oconomowoc - you will LOVE it!

Vegas Baby!

Ahhhhhh, we just got in from a long week in sunny Las Vegas. Although we weren't big fans of the city, we had a great time enjoying various cuisines, catching the incredible show "O", and most of all learning tons of awesome ideas and concepts for wedding photography from the conference we attended.

We had a lot of fun with this group. The couple was more interested in photos of friends and family than of themselves - so got tons of fun portraits!

Petrie

I LOVE shooting pets. I really enjoy trying to capture their little personalities!!!

This is my sister's bird, Petrie. She wanted a special portrait of him for her birthday, so I gave her a few prints in different sizes to showcase her treasured pet.

My BOB

I recently got a 'bob' haircut! I am going to keep cutting it until it's all one length (growing out the bangs:) What do ya think?

The Doll

Dollie is our beautiful golden retriever and we just love her to death. She is such a wonderful part of our family. I snapped this last week while working on another pet project (coming soon). We are going to miss her while at WPPI next week (a photographer's convention in Vegas!) - but she is in good hands with a set of her Grandparents;)

This is what is keeping Sanjaya on the show - not just the 'crying' little girls!

I have to say, I thought this was SO dumb - but after reading the mission statement... they have a point. What do you think?

St. Patrick's Day Wedding!

What a wonderful couple! When we had so much fun with Teri and Justin at Holy Hill for their engagement pictures - with their adorable dog - we knew we would have a blast shooting their wedding... especially since it was on St. Patty's Day! They met 5 years ago on St. Patty's Day - so it was very sentimental to them both. We really loved the bag piper during cocktails and the irish dancers after dinner - so cool!

baby to be...

One of my best friends is pregnant with her fourth child. I am so excited about taking photos of this new little one:) But until then, I spent some time photographing her in her beautiful state of maternity. I also caught a few of her twin boys Matthew and Mason - cuties!
